At St Giles' & St George's C of E Academy, we care about developing the whole child in mind, body, heart and spirit. With this in mind, we carefully map out enrichment opportunities for all children. These opportunities include celebrating festivals, sporting competitions, musical events, engaging curriculum trips and connecting with our local community. 

Our aim is to foster a sense of curiosity about the world around them and broaden and deepen their learning, beyond the classroom. 

Our enrichment offer helps our pupils to outlive our Christian vision and builds skills such as: resilience, motivation, problem-solving, respect and independence.

As well as the above, we offer free after-school clubs for all year groups, providing further exciting opportunities for our pupils. 

Spirituality:

Another way that we promote development within our children is through their spiritual development. We have mapped out our spirituality curriculum through all foundation subjects, providing children with a chance to explore 'big questions' about religion, world views and current events around the world. These questions focus on self, world and beauty, others and beyond.
